A post hurricane Dorian update regarding Bill from Jim Moudy on Elbow Cay:

Bill Johnson has been a treasure of the Bahamas and Abaco his entire life. His paintings and art decorate our homes. Bill rode out the entire hurricane alone in a three sided building which was exposed to the elements. He is a proud man and refuses to leave his home. He spent the first eight days after the storm in a wet bed and clothes until we at Hope Town Fire Rescue could get a pretty nurse over to clean him up and get his bedding dried out (the pretty nurse was the key to getting him to open up). He needs a caregiver. Please help us help Bill! We will establish a caregiver and ensure he is getting fresh foods and vegetables. The nurse reports he's in good physical health but needs care and attention. Bill has also published book that just launched right before the Hurricane. Its a treasure of Bahamian stories "Bahama Tales".
